Faculty Performance Review

The Faculty Performance Review Workgroup of MSU’s ADAPP-ADVANCE project aims to support the faculty in all units within each of the participating colleges in defining and refining expectations of annual review, reappointment, promotion and tenure so that they are clear, transparent, and aligned with the goals of the department and college. A faculty team will review Annual Review policies and RP&T evaluation criteria for objectivity and consistency with University policies. Thus by the end of this process, faculty will receive these criteria upon their recruitment to MSU, and the criteria will be ultimately maintained in an electronic format, connected to annual evaluation dataPolicies and best practices will be promoted through the dissemination of toolkits (available on the web and in hard copies) as well as through workshops offered by the Office of Faculty and Organizational Development
